Why It Matters

Itch and Inflammation in One Molecule

Canine atopic dermatitis is one of the most common chronic skin diseases in dogs. We are developing a bispecific that blocks the itch pathway (IL-31) and the inflammatory pathway (IL-13) with a single molecule. The programme has been awarded a national R&D grant.

Mechanism of action

Fig. 1
Bispecific antibody neutralising IL-31 and IL-13 in canine skin
Fig. 1. One bispecific antibody neutralises both IL-31, which drives itch, and IL-13, which drives inflammation. Conceptual; in vivo efficacy is not yet established.

Available for Early Out-Licensing

Available for out-licensing once proof of concept is in hand. The full package is shared under a CDA.

Every programme is in development and pre-approval. Product properties, including dosing interval and efficacy endpoints, are development targets and have not been established in vivo. Technical, market and development detail is available under an executed CDA.
